Pocket Posh

Yesterday was Thursday and my work day started out in such a sweet day.  When I walked into my office, there was a card and a gift on my desk. 

I work in an office where I am the only female, and while the gentlemen I work with do things for me frequently, it usually involves bringing me food (which I love and because I don’t get out of the office very often).  With the exception of my boss, I don’t usually get cards from the gentlemen.   

I saw this was so excited to see this Pocket Posh Coloring book which has vintage designs for fun and relaxation and a pack of colored pencils. I opened the card and it was from my boss’s daughter thanking me for something.

 

In this day and time of rush, hurry, rush, and electronic gadgets everywhere, I loved she took the time to get a real card, took the time to write beautiful words and took the time to look for a cool unique gift she thought I would like.

My daughter ordered me an adult coloring book recently but they have been on backorder so she sent me a few pages to print out and color until my book arrives.  I have already colored them so my new Pocket Posh will help feed my coloring need and then I will have two sizes and types of new coloring books.

Maybe I should stick the smaller one in my handbag and when I am somewhere waiting on something or someone, take it out and start coloring instead of being glued to my phone checking emails.
