Insidious Depression
Clinical Depression is an insidious disease. It can creep in quietly and grow until it completely engulfs your being no matter the amount of sunlight and positivity in a life. Sometimes it is the funniest, most carefree appearing individuals who suffer the most torture. There is a relief that comes with making people laugh or entertaining in ways that draw other emotions out of them. One can fill a life with things to keep busy so the demons can be kept at bay but ultimately there is always a time of day, in the deepest darkest corner, when there is nothing left to fill the empty space but the deep insidious voice of depression echoing through your soul.
